Swinton Swooning...

We think that by and large Tilda Swinton is underrated.  Tilda's beauty amazes us - there is no other that looks like Tilda Swinton! 

The Scottish actress, oscar winner and model regularly fronts campaigns for fellow scottish super brand Pringle as well as featuring in uber fashion tomes, Another Magazine, Room and Dazed & Confused.  Starring in hollywood blockbuster movies and independent cultural films like the Italian 'I am Love' Tilda is the most versatile AND fierce beauty there is.

We love how she makes her extraordinary face her feature and emphasises it through structural, tailored and avant garde fashion.  A lot of neutrals with a pop colour lip or stark with no make up or even emblazoned with jewel brights in fabulous fabric. 

Nobody does it like Tilda...and we love it.    

Mustard silk, flawless skin and absolute minimal accessories - perfect.

Did we mention that Tilda has a husband and a lover?  The lover has since been jilted.

Amazing!

Chastising Chastain...

Well we wish we could chastise Jessica Chastain - for consuming so many hours of our time!  We can't stop admiring her uber chic, simple, statement making presence.  

Recently we saw her in The Debt, The Help and Tree of Life...the ubiquitous Jessica is always on our minds and inspiration boards. 

The plunging neckline is fantastic!  Especially with her elegantly upswept hair to counteract the sexiness.

Metallic neutrals offset the auburn shine in her hair.  

Smokey eyes, nude lips, classic hoops and a one shouldered black frock...simple perfection!

Jessica vamps up her otherwise classic pieces through the use of colour pops and her natural confidence.

LOVE this mustard yellow...Must, must have everything in this colour!

Cobalt blue on porcelain skin and swept hair allows the focus to be on her incredible face framed with her auburn hair.

Amazing.

Ah we just love her.

Jen Mankins is the owner of the Bird boutiques, some of the best fashion destinations in Brooklyn and New York.  It has won mumerous awards and sells collections like 3.1 Phillip Lim, Acne, A.P.C, Alexander Wang, Isabel Marant and Proenza Schouler to name a few!

A Family Fashion Affair...

Given our penchant for all things nails and manicures, it is an appropriate time to introduce our latest style crush, Prisca Courtin-Clarins the beauty heiress introducing Parisians to the American Nail Salon.  Prisca however, is only one quarter of this blogpost.  

Her sister and cousins Virginie, Claire and Jenna are a mini fash pack, a supertight quartet whose wardrobes we're pining after.  Uber tall, uber slim and uuuuber French these girls are a permanent fixture on front rows and party syndicates and we're loving every second.
