Vive Vogue français...

...and Emmanuelle Alt!

Perhaps we jumped the gun a little bit when we said we could die happy if we had Viviana Volpicella's wardrobe...  Filling a big pair of shoes - and then some! is Emmanuelle Alt the new Editor-in-Chief of French Vogue.

Reason we love her wardrobe?!  It is ALWAYS chic, simple and classic interspersed with THE must have pieces.  Even though Emmanuelle is always on trend, her look never dates as she adds pieces to her classic, good quality basics.

Words can't express our love for this woman's impeccable style. Emmanuelle dresses intelligently too as she invests in wardrobe staples that will see her through several seasons and simultaneously become synonymous with her style.

MUST invest in over the knee suede, black boots...

We love the structured shoulder and Isabel Marant boots.

What a duo - Emmanuelle with former Vogue Paris Editor-in-Chief, Carine Restoin-Roitfield.

HNMC favourite.  Beautiful simple white blazer with stockings, black denim shorts and over the knee boots pulled together by a classical stripe breton tee.

Dressing black on black works so well when there are different textures of good quality - black never looks good if it is done with cheap and badly made fabrics; if you invest in well made pieces they should withstand time and are a great investment.

HNMC favourite...How beautiful are these pants!

Ahh to wear Balmain...

Great Jacket.

Animal print is always a showstopper.

This look is perfect because it is absolutely do-able.

Look as chic as Emmanuelle by clever layering.

These leather pants are a constant on Emmanuelle and show how a great piece can be worn again and again in many different ways over different seasons. We want!
